I'm retired. For years I've done alot of DIY mainly for two reasons; To save money and the Enjoyment of doing a project....
I'm by-far not an expert, but learned alittle by doing and reading.
I've built a chimney, put on a house addition, layed carpet, built patios and decks, remodeled interiors and installed roof vents....fixed washers and dryers......none of the above was my trade......I owned and ran a sharpening shop until I retired. (had enough breathing grinding dust).
I now am interested in building a roof over my deck on the back of the house......I'll look for some good ideas here on the forum......
