just purchased my first house

Hello! I'm a 24 year old from Maryland and I just purchased my first house!

I bought the house I grew up in from my parents. It's a 1930s brick colonial that I absolutely love. It's in pretty good shape, but I definitely have a list of things I want to do. Just need to find the time and money now.

I have a good amount of DIY experience helping my father fix up this house over the years, but now it's my responsibility. Hoping to learn whatever I can.

That's pretty cool.

Now you can do things your parents didn't allow you to do when you were growing up there.

I'd of luv'ed to of bought my parent's house but the minute I was shipped off to basic training, they upped and retired, sold the place and moved far away. Wonder if they're trying to say something?

Anyway, have fun finding your dad's mistakes.
