introduction

Hello, I am new to this site. The information I have read here is very helpful and thoughtful. I am hoping to gain some knowledge and help in a big project I am starting. I live in the mountains of West Virginia and am going to build a small A - Frame home (vacation cabin) immediately next to a river. There will be some occasional flooding as the river in not dammed. I have many questions. I also hope that I can contribute as well.
