Lightbulb Intro

I signed up to help trade ideas. I am a meteorologist in Wisconsin, graduated college in 1993, married, kids, and am in my 3rd house.

I worked through college as a drywall contractor/painter, also doing minor carpentry and roofing. My father (retired) was an electritian for 37 years. 1 uncle works in a lumber yard, another is a plumber, another is a cable installer. I have done a complete rebuild on a 1924 tudor, finished a basement on a 1985 1 1/2 story. In my current house I have finished the basement (with a home theater), remodeled two bathrooms and one bedroom. I guess my strongest suit would be Drywall / Framing and my weakness would be plumbing, but I'm getting better.

Currently we have just shy of three acres of Maple / Aspen / Birch forest in northern Wisconsin. We get black bears, deer, wolves, foxes, and my wife saw a fischer two weeks ago. I guess out of neccesity I have become knowledgable about trees and wildlife over the past 10 years.
