I'm attempting to become a DIY'er

I am attempting to do more things myself, as I did not grow up in a family with examples of doing things yourself. I have little to no experience in anything, but I like to learn and try things, and have a pride in what I accomplish, even if it may seem trivial to others. Please be patient with me as I may ask dumb questions!

Don't worry. Even those of us who DIY all the time still ask dumb questions! Welcome to the club.

Welcome to the forum unclenanoose.

I'll tell you what someone told me when I signed up. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

Ask anything you want. And don't forget, there is a search bar at the top of the screen. You may be able to find answers to your questions there.
