Just saw this. Am enjoying seeking ideas on this sight and especially helping out those that need some input.
Built custom homes 30 years ago and have been DIYing ever since. I am strong in functional issues but if you get into real finish work, look for someone else. While I remodeled kitchen, 3 bathrooms, built a darkroom, etc. I would never attempt crown molding.
Have done almost everything in building (homes) except lay out a roof or contruct a rafter/roof design. Just built a shed and tried cutting rafters the first time; good enough for a shed, but not "quality" work.
Looking foward to learning from all of you and passing on what I can.
