I would like to paint old wall paneling

I recently moved to a 60's vintage house and am eager to learn how to update some areas, and create a home reflecting my style and tastes. I like the solid lines, and good construction and large yard. Looking forward to hearing from others who have tried and succeeded in similar projects!

If you want to paint old paneling you need to start with hardcore primer. I not sure which one. Something zinsser definately (something hardcore they make). Either BIN or Coverstain i'm thinking. Better double check with slickshift . Hopefully he will see this and comment.
