I've recently found myself with a lot more free time than I'm used to, but a bit less income to go with it. I figure that's a sign that I should get off my behind and get going on the projects I never had time to do before and prevent them from becoming big head aches later. I'm fairly handy, but with limited experience with fixing things in the home. Replacing toilets, light fixtures, painting, replacing doors, that's about it. Hopefully i can learn a few things here and I'll gladly share all my lessons on what not to do.
I'm in the same boat, seems to be a lot of that lately
I'm working on a major project - 24x36 garage & great room above
Lots of fun
Wife's to do list seems to get longer instead of shorter
