I've poached on this site for so long I feel like a professional data thief. Years of posts from you senior members have helped to make my DIY life if not easy then at least bearable. I've had a hundred questions answered here and I've learned a ton of useful techniques.
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.
The masterpiece of my online apprenticeship can be seen in a pair of recent YouTube videos, if you'd care to give a look.

Now, I'm safely retired and pursuing a new and not all together safe fascination with motorcycles. If you're interested you can get a closer look at that series of senior moments on my blog at

I'm still doing DIY, though... and oddly enough we bought THIS house because "it didn't need anything done to it." So I've signed on as a member in order to ask some questions about UNdoing the horrible and hell-bent for disaster job done by the idiots who long ago installed my deck. I'll post those questions in the appropriate forums.
I know I can count on getting excellent advice there.
Best regards.
