Good evening all! My name is Josh and I am from Southern Indiana. I will try just about any DIY project at least once. So with that said, I will hang drywall. I will not finish it. I will not mess with plumbing unless its a supper small project. I hate to paint and will now pay someone to do that. I have no problem supporting the local economy that way!
I was the acting General Contractor while building my current house. (Think long and hard before attempting that). It was one of the most stressful things I have done and I was only building a 1280 sq ft pole barn house. I had the concrete pad, structure put up, drywall hung and finished, plumbing. I (with my dad) did everything else such as metal siding and roofing, flooring, cabinets, electrical, doors, windows, and every other finishing item. I'll be happy to share my experience more in depth if anyone has questions.
Best of luck with all your projects you might be involved in!
