New here.
Wife and I bought a colonial style home that had been repo'd and vacant - home was in ill repair or as the neighbors said 'The former owners didnt let it go - THEY MADE IT GO!'
Anyhow, we have been here eight years now - the first four were spent refinishing or replacing almost everything in and on the house with the exception of the electrical and piping. I got burnt out after that and have done enough to keep things tidy since.
I am retiring from the Army this month and am going to re-engage on some things that I put off like the plumbing - not bad, just not real fast and a bit of rusty water from time to time; some painting; tile work; and finishing a room in the basement.
I hope to learn from those who have came before!
Look forward to it.
Regards,
Tim
