Howdy

Just bought a house in Western Oklahoma. I lucky enough that we don't have to move until July. So, we have a few months to work on it before it being used. That and room to park the RV out front for "camp driveway" for a nice place to crash and clean up while were there on weekends working.
It hasn't been lived in, in 10 years. So, while structurally sound it needs a ton of little things. Not to mention it hasn't been really updated since the mid 70's.
We just look at it as a blank slate.
I'm sure I'll have a million questions. I've only bought one house with my previous wife and it was already remodeled when we bought it.

Welcome. I don't know what I'd do if I lived somewhere that didn't need at least some work. I've heard rumors that people exist that don't like to tinker, but I don't believe them.

If you have any questions (preferably one at a time...), we can try and give you some good stuff to work with.
Good Luck!

My wife is going to have a hard time getting me to work inside the house for a little while.
My passion has always been the yard and curb appeal type stuff. It needs so much prettying up outside I don't want to go inside.
But, I guess I'll need to tackle the soft spot in the master bath's floor first. That's really the only thing inside that "needs" repair. The rest is really just updating the 40 year old interior.
