Hi from Southern CA
Iíve been a electrician for 35 years and also Air Conditioning for 20 years.
This forum looks exactly what Iíve been looking for because Iím a DIY kind of guy. After getting burned a few times by Service Techs, I decided a long time ago that I would do everything myself and even though there are still some things I have not been able to master such as texturing walls and ceilings, at least I now know enough to recognized when Iím being ripped off.
Iím here today because my gas furnace is down and my family is freezing. I know how to repair ACs but donít have any experience in furnaces so I guess I jump over to the HVAC area to see if I can find a solution or maybe come up with a coherent question describing my problem.
Anyway I hope Iíll be able to contribute something here as well as get some help with my own projects. :)
Hi Johnny, Welcome to the Forum
IF your Furnace problem is related to the Blower motor
then in S Cal I recommend taking it to Arbuckle in Hollywood.

Thanks Bob, I have actualy seen Arbuckles many years ago. I didn't know they were still around, I don't get to that area much anymore because I live up in the High Desert.
Anyway I solved my furnace problem thank you very much.
