I'm in midwest area, not a specialist at anything. I analyze things and have a fairly decent idea of some basic engineering, but I get pretty crunched when getting down to doing things. I'm an over thinker. not a do-er.
I'm currently working on a deck project that has been thought out and then changed as I go. I draw things out, people say that's good, then I do it and say, man, I think this would be better. I really wish I did just about everything different on this ongoing deck project.
also, I need to PM a guy that seemed very helpful this board and I can't until I get 15 posts. So hi, everyone. I also think like a perfectionist but I don't have the skills to make perfection happen. Example: I'll take my time and cut this perfect, then my cut ends up being off anyway.
Introduction continuing: I started off as a level headed auto motivated person in high school. Still have a strong interest in them but don't think the money investment is worth it right now. I've been around people diy-ing things always interested in learning and helping. Inherited a decent but aging amount of wood tools, and have expanded a bit myself.
Welcome! I tend to over-think and over-build things myself sometimes.
