Hi From Florida

I just bought my first house last month and a single woman I am often overwhelmed by the number of things I don't know how to do. I am hoping to find advice and at times I guess encouragement to try to tackle some of the many projects around the house.
thanks
kim

Hi From Florida

Hi and welcome to the site.

Not that I am looking for work, but FWIW: we alway give single moms, that need work done on their house, a price break, because we understand how hard it can be to raise kids and upkeep a home financially. Good for you on your home purchase. I'm sure the members her will be a great help to you.

Hi From Florida

Welcome aboard Kimbur! I too live in Floride (Tampa). This site is worth its weight in gold, when it comes to problems around the house. I know some things, but still learning in a lot more. We all learn together. If you have any questions, all you've got to do is ask.

Thank you for the welcome to the board. I think it is admriable that you give single mom's a break. They have a tough life.
I however am not a mom, just a single woman who managed to buy her first home

Hi From Florida

Thanks Floridians for the welcome. I think I am off to read about changing out two prong outlets to three. But electricity scares me

Hi From Florida

Good luck Kimbur96! Remember, there is a section dedicated to electrical, so if you have any questions, or run into any problems, just ask!
