Hi everyone,

from a newbie. I've been a do-it-yourselfer all my life due to finances. I do plumbing, build furniture, working on my automobile, etc, etc. I live in a '69 single wide mobile home and I am scrapping the ENTIRE roof down to the bare metal. I've done all the seams and put a thick layer of tar down on them, but there are pin holes in the areas between the seams. After 40 years of tar, cool seal, silicone, and other sealants, the stuff I'm scrapping is up to 1/2" thick. No fun!! If you know a product that I can wipe on to remove the residual tar, please let me know.

Deborah
