Hi - from Carol in Toronto, Ontario

Hello to everyone!
Bought our little piece of Hell - Now Heaven in March 2006 as a Power of Sale and probably would have been better to tear down and start fresh in hindsite but my son and I learned a lot as we progressed.
I was already pretty handy and knew my way around tools through watching my father since I was about 5. Guess you could say that I was very intrigued by the man because he had a real job but when he came home he could fix everything.
I am still pretty much a novice by comparison.
I was looking through my sales flyers early this morning and saw that Dulux paint was "buy one and get one free" so googled it for reviews and found all of you. YAY - I am so excited! I Absolutely love DIY shows and subscribe to "This Old House", "Canadian Home Workshop", "Family Handyman" NOT the usual Chatelaine or Cosmo - so I guess under the circumstances of this forum so that is a little about me for now and I hope that I am not out of my League but I am excited to be here
