Hi All

Hi,

I'm currently in the process of starting some projects in the house, including central heating, and wiring. I'm comfortable with "twirling the spanners" on a mechanical front having built a few bikes and cars over the years. However houses are different!!! So far have done the usual things like replacing toilets, baths etc but am now moving on to removing walls (non load bearing) and general DIY. Slow but getting there, so far not found anything in the house with oil or pistons but who knows??? My main concern is a) doing things right and b) understanding what I can and cannot do, cos I know there are all sorts of new rules and regs now that means things need to be certified. I am confident in my abilities but also quite happy to know my limitations and get the relevant professionals involved where required. Am also a gadget freak, Every time I go to B+Q I come home with something that looks "really useful" but just ends up in the garage!!!

Cheers

Andy.
