Hi

Hi,

I'm relatively new to this forum and so far it's been an immense help. I'm a first time home owner and live with my wife and small herd of animals in a 100 year old home in West Virginia.

A lot of this is very new to me but have been reading forums like this, as well as every architectural, electrical, plumbing, etc. book I can get my hands on. Even when I'm not quite brave enough to tackle some of my own problems, it's great to be able to call a pro and tell him exactly what the issue is.

Sometimes I think owning an old home is a full time job in itself...

Thanks!

Hi

Welcome to the forum.

You will find a lot of honest interest. Some ot the responders are great and some just offer opinions.

Make sure yo identify you location and the situation accurately to get the most out of the forum.

I don't agree with Dangermouse since I have 2 cats and still think I own the house. I just have to make sure to feed themm on time and keep things off their chairs and nesting places.
