Thought I had made an intro post, guess I didn't.

I do telecommunications cabling for a living, basically customer premises for an organization with about a hundred physical sites and about a thousand telecom closets. Previously I serviced computers for about fifteen years. I do most of my own work around the house for just about everything, as I've found that many "professionals" can't do it any better. I've been lucky to find a good electrician, but amusingly that's the discipline that I need the least help in.

Looks like a neat forum, I'll be around.
