Hello There
Hi everybody. So far, I'm thinking this will be a pretty useful site for me.
My wife, two kids, and I just moved back into my parents' old mobile home. Its 25 years old and has needed a lot of work, but hey, free house. So far, its been new carpet, new pergo for the kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and utility room. New toilet. Painted the kitchen. Now I'm redoing the washer supply lines because they're old and leaky. And on. And on. And on... So that's been my life lately. My name is Scott. For my job, I drive one of these puppies: ![]() Just imagine that very truck with white paint, and red and blue Cemex stripes on the drum. You'd think being a mixer driver would make me somewhat knowledgeable on construction and home improvement, but you'd be wrong. So don't make fun of me when I ask stupid questions. Or, if you do make fun of me, be prepared to get it back. That's all for now. See y'all later. |

Hello There
Welcome Mort. Seems that you may fit right in here. You have to scroll through a ton of S..
tuff. But in the long run very helpful. What would cement have to do with DIY'ing? I am actually a decor person, but I have been tearing down walls, putting up walls, adding countertops and such These people are the best, well tons better than the help at the big box stores anyhoo.! Welcome. |

Hello There
Some people attempt concrete work themselves. But I think its just the assumption that if you wear a dayglo orange shirt and are in the construction industry, that you automatically know anything about constructing things.
