Hello from Texas

I'm very glad to find a good DIY forum. I'm a member at a few other types but never even thought to look for a Doityourselfer forum.

I do all the work around the house and on the cars (when I can). I work as a handyman, but I'm not as experienced as some of the people here. I'm sure I'll be asking questions as well as helping others when I have enough knowledge about the topic. It looks like this is mostly people from up North. I guess some things are done differently up their - for instance I've never seen anyone using plaster here.

I am working on a forum where consumers can review and discuss various home products. Hopefully to help people find out what products are quality and which ones aren't, where to get good deals, etc.

So, thanks for the great forum.

Hello from Texas

Welcome, Rick, from another Texan, and a newbie reno-junkie. I might need a new best friend.

Just finishing my first reno project, a bath room.

The members have been great.
