Hello from Tampa, FL!

I am so excited to find this forum and can not wait to learn and share with everyone here! I love and live for decorating! I think I was born a decorator because for as long as I can remember I would pour over magazines and catalogs picking out things I want in my home.

My very first home was a flipper, and I have been a flipper ever since! I've enjoyed the process of having two homes built, some of the work done by me, and I have renovated a 200yr old home on Cape Cod as well. I also love to landscape and use ponds as my signature in most landscape jobs I do. I am an experienced faux painter.

If I want something done, most of the time I do it myself. I think my experience allows me to bring a lot to this forum. See you around!

Hello from Tampa, FL!

If that's the case, you might enjoy spending time on iVillage's Gardenweb forums. These two::

http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/bath/?24146

http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/kitchbath/

Are everything to do with remodeling kitchens and baths.

This one:

http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/ponds/

is all about ponds and aquatic plants. There are also literally hundreds of different forums on their server about landscaping and different kinds of planting.

Hello from Tampa, FL!

Greetings from a fledgling DIY'er!

Would love to hear more about your Cape Cod house, I'm a MA native, still love the area, and vacation there as often as I can.

Welcome!

Hello from Tampa, FL!

Welcome aboard! I too am from Tampa. Got an old house I am restoring. Nothing like your 200 year old house though. There is a house down the street, that ws built in 1842. The oldest house in the tri-county area. I wish I could have bought that one. It sold for $22,000 back in 98, and now worth close to 200K. It was originally built in down-town Tampa,,and was moved in my area back in 1914.
