Hello! My husband and I purchased our first house last May. Other than painting and some yard work we have yet to do any updates ourselves. The house was a foreclosure and we did FHA financing so we had a contractor do some essentials to get us into the house. Replace the roof, and plumbing. Mold re-mediation in the basement.
The house is overall in pretty good condition other than the bathrooms. They have not been touched, I assume, since the house was built.
