hello from NYC/Boston

My name is roy, I came accross this forum on a web search to find info on geothermal heating. i plan to make use of your HVAC forum as this is a subject i have little practical knowlage of and it looks as though geothermal and HVAC go hand in hand.

About me: i have 8 years on the job experiance w/ residential and some comercial plumbing in NY. During that time i did plenty of moonlighting w/ electrical and carpentry, untill i finaly self employed doining kitchens and baths, during the recent housing boom.

Now.... well i gave up the goodlife, and i am a lowly third year medical student at Boston University School of Medicine, where i pay my previos yearly income to work 70+ hrs a week learnig my new "trade". I still work, on the weekends, that is my financial aid.

Welcome to the Chatroom. It sounds like you are a well rounded individual. Not sure if we will ever do Medical procedures as a DIY project but I will keep you in mind if we do LOL. Enjoy the site.
If you have never made a mistake, you haven't done much.

Welcome Dr. Roy.
A good paint job isn't cheap. A cheap paint job isn't good.

Well Doc, you still get to use your hands. Some of us old guys will probably need some medical advice too!! And, if we ask you here at DYI ya gotta do it for free. Best of Success.
