Hello, New Guy Checking in

Wow, cool forum, i just moved into a new house, i got a great deal on it, but i need to do some updating. Just so you guys know where im coming from, this is my third house. I have used contractors on my other houses, and i am sure i will again at the new house, but some of these jobs i can do myself.

So we have been in our new house for about three weeks. two weeks into it our sewer pipes back up, so now we have to replace the sewer line, i am hiring someone to do that. $3800.00 sounds like a good price for about 90' of sewer line?

1)The next project after that will be enclosing a sun porch for an all year room, with a wood burning stove.
2)grading the perimeter of the house

One other thing is id like to modify my garage to fit my truck in it. Anyone ever do that ?

I am on a few other forums, so i know the gig, i wont be asking tons of questions before i search the site, just looking for a place to learn and bounce my ideas off of other knowledgeable folks.
