Hello from Nashville, TN- from an aspiring home repair extraordinaire!

My name is Brent, my wife and I bought a house about three and a half years ago. Loving it. It's our first home.

I've never done much DIY before we got a home. But since getting it, I've jumped into everything from woodworking to repairing whatever I could safely. New fences, landscaping, appliance repair........I'm new to it all and learning it all. I can hear the choir of onlookers nodding their head, saying "been there, done that". But everyone starts somewhere!

I've found that with most jobs, with the right tools, you can save loads of money over having somebody come and repair things for you. So I try to be the "hero" and make everything work. So far, so good. There has been a TON of knowledge that I've gained throughout the house over the past nearly four years. My father in law is a contractor, so he has helped some. But I don't want to rely on him. We've completely redone the kitchen, knocked out walls, replaced floors and much more. And I truly enjoy home improvement and repair!

But I need help from time to time, which is why I'm here!

I hope to learn a ton and then pass whatever I can along to others who come behind me. I look forward to meeting many of you!
