Hello...from midwest state

I'm in the midwest.

We own two homes, one is a rental. My husband and I are trying to do as many of the repair projects on our own to save money but want to keep with code and fix things correctly.

We have had more than a few challanges come up. Our rental home was our last home we decided not to sell when we purchased our current home due to market conditions. It makes more sense for us to fix that place up slowly, and we do have plans to use it in the future if needed when selling our current home.

We have had more that a few problems with both homes, so we hope to learn alot, and get things fixed.

We have no kids, but we do have dogs/cats and a bird.

Thanks in advance for any help!!!!

Ask away on just about any conundrum you may have as we have the best group of helpful members here!

Dogs, cats and a bird? Make that 12 birds and add 3 goats and you sound like us!

Nice pictures! Big projects! Nice to see a fellow diver on the site. My fav. hobbie, and one of the reasons we keep putting off all these repairs, why suffer through a cold midwest winter when there is a warm ocean somewhere to play in. .....
