Hello from Michigan!

Hey everyone. I'm Andrew from Waterford, MI. I just purchased my first house (mom kicked me out!) May 24, 2012 with my girlfriend. I've lived in Michigan my entire life. Started in West Bloomfield, moved to Royal Oak, then Franklin, then Waterford, then back to Franklin and finally back to Waterford.

1400 sq. ft. colonial built in '94, 1.5 stories, 1.1 bath, 3 bedroom, huge basement. Previous owners put in new beautiful hardwood floors on the main floor, and matching cabinets in the kitchen. Roof is newer, cellulose insulation in the attic of the main dwelling. We really lucked out, the house was mostly turn-key. I have noticed some minor issues that we keep chipping away at.

I am somewhat handy, mostly with cars more than houses but it's all nuts, bolts, screws, wires, and pipes when it comes down to it so I've been able to translate some of my knowledge over to the house.

I can't wait to delve into this site and learn more!
