Hello, Many projects 100 year old House, Oakland, CA

Have already learned alot from visiting this forum. Thanks. This is the first time to join a chatroom.
I am currently working on Kitchen sink, counter top, installing dishwasher and kitchen floor(asbestos probably) Took out the two fish ponds connected by a stream (raccoons-drought) have fences that need help. Too many trees in back yard. Water coming from neighbors. I actually could go on and on. I'm not afraid of a little hard work. Thanks for being here.

Hi IthinkIcan:

We are hoping you can too......we will be watching to see more of your posts. My husband and I are very seriously thinking of buying a 100 year old home in the city we live in in Oklahoma. We know that there will be much to do also.......and yes.....we also think we can!!

Thank everyone for the welcome! Must change my username. I like the itic idea. Have been trying to run the electrical foe the dishwasher, hired a lady journyman and we both had a hard time finding a way up from the basement to the sink. Also found out the walls are all lath and plaster, not just the ceilings. Jar, your house is real nice. be back as soon as the dishwasher is in. Aloha all
