Hello from France

Hey all,

My name is Rick and I'm a DIYer who's been having fun with this stuff for about the past 20 years. I've rehabbed a couple of houses and have learned tons doing them, but I'm always eager to learn more, which is why I'm here. I believe it's important to do a job right, and the best way to do that, is take the advice of people who have lots of experience. Reading the posts, its seems thats what this forum has, so I'm quite excited.

I've recently moved to France and have taken a job on a farm where the owner has asked me to try to be the Mr Fix-It. I told him I don't have any formal trade training, but I'm pretty comfortable working with most stuff except electrics, so I'll give it a shot. Should be an interesting experience.

-Rick
