Hello Everyone

There is me happily reading and posting away and finally I get around to introducing myself. What a typical guy, eh? I don't read the building instructions on Ikea funiture either - It's much more fun if you think of it as a giant jigsaw puzzle really.

Anyways, bought a house built in 1912 a couple of years ago and am fixing it up as I go (And the money is there). 1912 would have a lot of character features but unfortunately the prev owner ripped out anything with character and replaced it with new classics like single pane aluminum windows, pelmets, lino, avaocado bathroom suite and fake metal chandeliers (Very Shaggedelic!). My favorite was the wood look lino next to the marble look lino in the living room!

Anyways, the house is solid and dry and so it'll be our home for a number of years as will hopefully be this forum.

Hello to everyone.
