Hello from Dallas

Hello all! I am a homeowner & DIYer in Dallas who enjoys working on my 1960, slab, single level home. I grew up in a family who worked professionally in roofing & home remodeling. I have gathered enough knowledge along the way to be a danger to me & my home- just joking. My main reason for registering on this site is to find out "proper" ("up to code") ways of completing my home projects. I look forward to learning from & contributing to this great forum.
