Hello from Cheshire, CT!

Hello everyone! I'm brand new to both the forum and DIY. I figured what I had in terms of common sense would give me a leg up on home improvements after I purchased my first home... it hasn't. Google helps a bit though. I hope to learn the what's, why's, and how's of home improvement one small project at a time!

Hello from Cheshire, CT!

Welcome to someone from the good part of CT!!! - my personal opinion.

My wife lived in Middletown (fortunately not north of there) and then we lived in Westbrook on the water before relocating elsewhere.

Thank you! I worked in Middletown for a couple of years, it is a great town. Thanks for the warm welcome and I'm sure our paths will cross!

Hello from Cheshire, CT!

Thanks guys! Only been a member for a few days so far but already can't quantify the amount I've learned (and the time I expect to save).
