Hello From California

Greetings from Apple Hill in Northern California. My inheritance consisted of a lovely piece of land and an older home which I've been tending to and doing repairs as I find them, at least the ones within my scope of ability and experience. I'm learning a little late (I'm 57), but am having the best time of my life. I've tackled things that would have made me faint with fear a few years ago, and have completed a project or two in each of the chatroom's categories. I'll admit to losing it a few times and running naked through the orchards with my hair on fire, but it's getting easier as time goes on. I just found your site today and hope to visit it regularly. Talk to you all later I hope. CMG
