Hello Cabinet Makers

I am new to this site and new to the world of wood work. I would like to design and build my own small cabinets to hold breakables and still gain easy access. A lot of slide and rail drawer work. Any advice on where to find plans/ideas? What type of wood is best? Any constructive input is much appreciated.

Hello Cabinet Makers

the latest issue of FineHomeBuilding magazine had an article on easy to build cabinets. It covers all the questions you posted except plans. Which are covered in so much as the details on cabinet construction. You simply need to modify the size to fit your needs.

The video tutorials are great. I am getting a lot of great ideas and answers to questions I didn't even have yet.
