Hello from Arkansas

Dan here. I inherited a house from my parents that hasn't been updated in 30 years, so there is a lot going on here. Everything from paint and crown molding to new floors, replacing drywall, revamping the bath, etc. I'm sure I will have plenty of questions as this goes on. I'm just muddling my way through with the help of a few professionals. I'm an RN, not a contractor.

Hello from Arkansas

Wow, you are really doing a major renovation on your house. What did you do, triple the square footage? I'm just doing mostly cosmetic changes. Took down one old chimney and replaced some damaged drywall. The bathroom and kitchen require a lot of work, including replacement of some appliances and cabinets, refinishing of the bathtub and some other big stuff like that. It's gonna be good. It looks like you have excellent skills. I'm hiring people to do most of my stuff. So far just putting up cement board and doing some tiling in the bathroom. I may have questions for you down the line. Thanks. Dan

Hello from Arkansas

Yeah, just will about 2x the sq footage
1640 sq ft as purchased, maybe 2900 when finished
All depends if they count the walk up attic as finished space
I'm not planning on finishing the attic
