I've been a DIYer for quite a while already.

Here's my latest project, still in progress:


I just had to stop and put the laptop back together so I could get some work done. That's black granite floor tiles on the desk surface. The desk is 2' x 7'. I have plans for a hutch too with built-in lighting. The desk is on 3.5" casters -- makes it easy to roll forward.

Don't mind all the cords -- it's only a temporary.

Other projects have included painting every room in my townhouse (including the closets, installing faucets in every room, installing laminate flooring in 3 bedrooms, tiling the entire first floor and both upstairs bathrooms, ceiling fans, bathroom fans, a 15' x 16' deck, new countertop, dishwasher, sink, and range hood in the kitchen, crown molding in 5 rooms, and probably a bunch of other things I'm forgetting.

I also made our dining room table, and three side tables, and two ottomans for the living room.
