I bought a 100 year old house about 2 years ago and working on it is my hobbie, plenty to do thats for sure!
in the summer time its too hot to do most of the work so i get most it done in the winter time and I'm getting ready to try and finish the upstairs bedroom
the house started out as a 1 storied house but the attic was converted to a 3rd bedroom
problem is that whoever started the project didn't do things right to begin with - like they used chip board for the walls instead of sheet rock, who knows why, and they laid the cabinets right on top of the tongue and grove sub floor, the cabinets have no bottom so the sub floor is the lower shelf
there are tons of little things like that I've had to figure out work a rounds for
