Doing my first bathroom reno, can not figure the faucet removal thing out.

Without being able to see a pic of the faucet in question, I'll take a stab at it;

1)Remember to shut the water off to the sink, get a small bucket & some paper towel (just in case) and remove the water lines.

2)There should be a locknut on the underside of the cabinet holding the faucet in place. See if you can't get an adjustable wrench or slip joint pliers in there to loosen it up so your fingers can take over.
