My name is Chris Edwards. I am new to the site and very interested in DIY projects. I recently swapped out a shower in my fathers house. What a mess. We had to cut the show out by hand, the doorways were to small. I also sell hardwood flooring for a living. So if anyone has any DIY questions on flooring I would be happy to answer.

I just read your post and I have a question about pre-finished hardwood flooring.

I installed pre-finished hardwood flooring approx. 3 yrs. ago, and in a certain area where there tends to be heavier traffic, I have noticed that the sheen in that area has dulled.

Would you have any suggestions as to what I can do other than to put a rug there, which I do not want to do as there is a door entrance and I really don't like the look.
