Hello

Well, I guess i should have done this before I started posting in the forums. Hello everyone, my name is James. I am a Paramedic with a local ambulance service and have been doing it for 15 years. I just bought a 1930's model two story house that I am gutting and putting in all new materials including electrical, plumbing, HvAC, and anything else you can think of. I am hoping that someone here will be able to help me. I have read through many of the threads and there seems to be quite a bit of good information on here. Hope to hear from everyone here.

Hello

Welcome to the forum Medic. You'll get lots of help here. As a paramedic have you had many calls to homes where a DIYer has injured him/herself?

Hello

Yep. Had one last year where a guy was holding a 2x4 on his leg and cutting it with a skill saw when it kicked back and near about cut his leg off. Talk about stupid. Anyway, glad to meet you all.

Hello

Hi blue eyez, you would have much better luck with getting your question answered if you post it in 'Flooring'.
