Hello! 1st time HomeBuyer

Hello everyone!

I've been looking at houses for a couple of years now and finally am ready.
I have an accepted offer on a home. The closing date is the end of
march so It's not 100% yet but inspections are being done over the next few days.

I've been browsing for awhile and figured it was time to sign up!

I enjoy DIY, not only learning to do something but the satisfaction of
knowing it was done by myself. Just feels better.

Anyway,
I'm 22,
Full time Firefighter for the City of Columbia, Tennessee.
2nd job discount tire
I've started my own photography business which will replace my 2nd job soon enough... ugh. lol
I also love the car scene. Modifying cars and nice cars in general. I love my Audi.

Anyway, Look forward to making a good contribution to this forum and many many projects to come!

Welcome! And get rid of the Audi. Jeep is where it's at!

Hello! 1st time HomeBuyer

Hopefully they do a good inspection. Not all inspectors are equally qualified. They can easily miss a costly repairs if they are not dilligent. And homebuyers are often too caught up in the excitement of a new home to avoid these pitfalls. My father was also a professional firefighter. He retired after almost 30 years, 10 as chief.

Hello! 1st time HomeBuyer

Thanks everyone, The inspector did a fantastic job, took 4 hours, Walk in basement made things a lil easier on him. lol
I received a 34 page report with pictures and details. My parents said he was wonderful compared to anyone they've had.
And he was only $275! I'll def be using him if I need more inspections done.
