Hi from a newbie. I am involved in one of those jobs that I should have said NO to and would like some advice. I've been asked to install a Formica high-splash over a brand new quartz countertop (built and installed by others). The overall length is 11+ feet and the upper edge is very uneven (odd cabinetry) and wraps a window mid-way. I think the cutting will be somewhat easy since I will make a paper template to cut the material, but the adhesion has me worried. Even with another set of hands, setting that much material vertically with contact cement is just asking for trouble. Does anyone know of an adhesive that is slow setting so I'll have at least a few minutes to get proper alignment before everything sets tight? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Chatroom. I would suggest that you ask your question in the Building and Construction Forum. Introductions do not get read by all the members and since you just used your name as the title, you are not likely to get an answer. Simply click on Building and construction and ask your question(s). Good luck and, again, WELCOME.
