Greetings and first post
Hi all,
Newbie here from the Atlanta area (northern 'burbs). Have visited this site from time to time but am just getting around to registering - looking forward to posting, discussing, and hopefully trading good info & ideas. Bought my first home a little over a year ago - 30 yr old split-level contemporary... was a foreclosure and in need of some work, so my fiancee and I rolled up our sleeves. Will soon (hopefully) be moving on to some larger remodeling projects, including garage and basement (total re-do on both).
Really enjoy DIY projects and learning about how all of these things work. As I was once told: it will never be perfect the first time, but it will never be perfect unless there is a first time.
