Greetings from da UP (Michigan)

Good morning,
I've been lurking on this forum for awhile now and find the topics interesting and informative.

I live on the Keweenaw Peninsula in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Lake Superior region), and our remote location, climate, and abundant snowfall make for some challenges when building.

I currently have a post in the 'roofing' section titled 'Metal Roofing Installation Dilemma.' I hope some will take the time to read it and respond.

I live too far out for DSL or cable. My connection is spotty, along with my cell service.

Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground this morning. Winter can't be far behind now.
