i've been browsing the forum for a couple of weeks now, and it's really given me some motivation and inspiration for a few projects around my house.
My wife and I own a bi level house, that's about 23 years old. So far, we've added insulation to the attic, gotten a new roof and new windows, as well as HVAC. Those are the big things, the only thing DIY there was insulation.
The house is in pretty good shape as far as I'm concerned, but it needs certain touches to make it "ours", and not so much just being in the new place.
After a year of owning the place we're refinancing, and will very soon be able to start some much needed projects. I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of questions, and hopefully showing off my (sort of) handy work!
