Greetings!

Hi there,

I just recently happened across these forums while doing some research on basement remodeling. I'm excited with what I have seen so far. It appears that you all have a great, active community!

I look forward to interacting with you all.

Currently I am getting ready to tackle a basement remodel. I bought my home about 5 years ago and have remodeled the kitchen and bathroom so far.

Some pictures can be found here: http://jasonandlisa.weebly.com/index.html

I need to do some updates to the pictures as they are getting to be a little dated. Things always are changing around my house!!

I will be the first to admit that I have little to no experience in construction. Everything done to date has been done after a lot of research and a cautious methodical approach.

I absolutely love learning how to do something, and then applying what I just learned to part of my home.

That said, I recognize that I have SO much yet to learn. A lot of things are probably basic operating procedures to those in the trade.

I am always open to suggestions, tips or even smacks on the back of the head when I do something questionable.

Thanks for taking a moment to read my little rant there. Be well!

Warm regards

Jason

Welcome Jason......and thank you for putting in your location.....

If it makes you feel any better....most of us didn't know anything about construction until we tried.....you made the right first step by coming here......

Don't hesitate to ask questions....plenty of experienced guys here.....just don't ask how much it costs (sore subject)

Hi Jason,

Very engaging photos. Seeing how your lovely family has accomplished so much gives me some confidence to start with our own projects.
