Greetings

Hi, I am a new member to DIY. I drilled around 300 holes in plywood yesterday, and they all splintered and looked very bad. That is why I am on the computer at 7 am to see if there is a better way. I am not a woodworker. I am trying to learn stop motion animation and to learn to build sets, not a lot of information out there for that kind of thing. Then I saw the great posts for the featured woodworking projects of the military jeep. Wow, that guy does fabulous work. This looks like the kind of forum to browse to see how things should be done right. So here I am nothing to post, since I am a complete ignorant newbee at all of this, just looking for a way to make my sets look better for the animation. Thanks!
