Good Morning

Since I replied to a post, I suppose I should introduce myself. I'm on my third home that was purchased in need of repair. We've fixed up two homes prior to this one. We've lived in our current home 14 years and will be staying in this one, it was my childhood home and it's in a good location. This summer is our big exterior restoration, we have hired out the pouring of new footings in our garage (it didn't have any, long story), and our 6' tall retaining wall. But, we are rebuilding our deck DIY, rebuilding the garage & insulating it DIY, and any other small projects needed before we vinyl side our 1964 ranch home in August with 7" single siding in a dark blue/gray (not DIY). We are also replacing 12 windows next week (not DIY). We hired quite a lot out which is not like us, but we just didn't have the time to do the huge projects.

Our interior DIY projects the past few years have included building a 600 sq. ft. music studio in the basement, tiling the kitchen/dining, and removing all the carpet in the house and refinishing where needed (hardwood was underneath).

Once we are done with this year's projects, pouring a new driveway and garage floor will probably be next. Our next DIY project will probably be gutting our main bathroom, our last indoor room not to be updated.
